For over 20 years we have been renting bikes for the Senda del Oso (Bear Trail) from our shop in Entrago, right at the start of the route. More than 200 bikes, Giant and Connor checked every day, with helmet, insurance, printed map and a face-to-face route briefing before you set off. When you finish in Buyera, we pick you and the bike up (return transfer included). And most importantly: you don’t pay until you arrive.

Chains, brakes and wheels are checked every morning before the first bike rolls out. We keep the tyres in top shape and treat the fleet as if we were taking it out ourselves. Your safety is not optional.

Senda del Oso with kids
The route is flat, shaded and has the bear enclosure halfway — where Molina lives.
Baby seats, semi-tandems, three kids bike sizes and trailers for 1-2 little ones.

We give you the printed map of the whole trail and the briefing before you set off. You can follow one of the two most popular downhill routes (return transfer included from Buyera) or ride at your own pace and stop wherever you like.
Ruta corta
La ruta más popular. Sale de Entrago y baja suavemente hasta Buyera, pasando por Caranga y Proaza. Todo descendente, ideal para familias y primera vez.
Ruta completa
La ruta larga, para quien quiere verlo todo. Tramo principal descendente con un ramal ascendente de 5 km hasta el embalse de Valdemurio (ida y vuelta) antes de seguir hasta Buyera.

"Veníamos de un alquiler en otra ruta donde nos tocó volver por nuestra cuenta pedaleando cuesta arriba. Aquí el transfer desde Buyera es oro puro. The Senda del Oso is one of the easiest family routes in Asturias: 18 km the short one (Entrago → Buyera) or 28 km the full one with a detour to the Valdemurio reservoir. It is almost flat with a gentle downhill (around 200 m). By bike it takes 2-2.5 hours at a relaxed pace, stopping to eat and see Molina’s enclosure. No fitness needed: it is done by kids from 6 years old to grandparents.
Yes, always. We rent by reservation only, to guarantee your bike and size. Booking is free with no commitment — we don’t ask for a card or deposit. You can pay by card online on confirmation, or at the shop in Entrago on arrival. Cancel free up to 24 hours before by WhatsApp or phone.
Departures every hour from 13:00 to 18:00 from Buyera. When you reach the end of the route you call or WhatsApp us and we pick you and the bike up to drive you back to Entrago, right next to your car. Included in all rates at no extra cost.
At our shop at Polígono de Pradacón Nave 1, 33111 Entrago (Teverga, Asturias). 40 minutes from Oviedo by car and 5 metres from the start of the Senda del Oso. Free parking right outside.
The basics: water, something to eat (there are picnic areas and bars along the way), comfortable clothes and closed sports shoes (no flip-flops). In summer, cap and sunscreen; in winter, a warm layer. Bike, helmet, map and insurance are on us — you just need to turn up keen.
Yes, from babies up. We have baby seats up to 20 kg (€14), kids trailers for 1 or 2 small children (€22), semi-tandems for kids 4 to 8 (€22) and kids bikes in 16", 20" and 24" sizes (€22). Helmets in all sizes always included.
Yes. We have pet-friendly trailers up to 20 kg (€22) and XXL up to 30 kg (€30). Both with a €40 deposit. Lit tunnels, frequent shade and rest areas along the whole route.
We have an adult tricycle (€30), very stable, ideal for those who don’t feel confident on a two-wheeled bike. You can also walk the trail — we tell you which sections are prettiest and how to combine the return with the bus instead of walking back.
Cancel free up to 24 hours before and come another day. A good part of the trail runs through tunnels and covered areas, so often you can ride without issue with light rain. If it rains heavily on the day, best to let us know and reschedule.
Yes. E-bike with pedal assist (€50/day), with range for the full 28 km route including the Valdemurio reservoir detour. Good option if you want to enjoy without effort or if you come with little fitness.
