By car
Step-by-step directions from the 4 most common starting cities. All with free parking at the end of the road.
Take the A-63 towards Grado. Exit 9 to Trubia. Continue on the AS-228 towards Puerto Ventana. Go through Caranga de Abajo (junction with the AS-229 to Quirós) and carry on 7 km to Entrago (Teverga). For Tuñón: exit at Trubia and stay on the AS-228 for just 7 km.
Take the A-8 towards Oviedo, then the A-66 until it links with the A-63 (towards Grado). From there, the same as from Oviedo. Practically all motorway.
Take the AP-66 (Huerna motorway), exit at Villablino / Caldas de Luna towards Puerto Ventana on the CL-626 / AS-228. The entrance to Teverga is via Puerto Ventana, with spectacular views.
Take the AS-265 towards Puerto de San Lorenzo. Cross the pass and continue on to Teverga. You arrive straight at Entrago with no detours.
Public transport
There is a regular bus service from Oviedo. By train you only get as far as Trubia (25 km short) — not the most practical option.

Recommended plan
Bus to Entrago + trail downhill on foot or by bike to Tuñón (22 km) + next bus back to Oviedo.
RENFE train
The closest station is Trubia (Oviedo-Xixón-Santander line), 25 km from the Entrago start. From Trubia you need a bus or taxi.
Best option: come by train to Oviedo and carry on with a Pullmans Llaneza bus from the central station.
By bike from Oviedo
The most cyclist-friendly way to get there. 2.5-3 h at a relaxed pace, almost all on flat greenway.
By bike or take it on the train. A classic starting point for cyclists.
Enter Parque de Invierno and follow the Vía Verde del Fuso, practically flat.
Continue on the Corredor Verde del Nora towards Trubia.
From Trubia, take the AS-228 for 6 km to Tuñón. That is the section with traffic.
In Tuñón you join the main trunk. You are on the trail.
Extra for cyclists
You add roughly 10 km before you even hit the trail itself. To skip those, take the direct bus from Oviedo to Entrago.
