  • Weekends: different frequency.
  • Check current timetable on ALSA.es or at Oviedo Bus Station.

Price: 4-6 € per one-way trip.

Important: bring a confirmed return ticket. If you miss the last bus, a taxi from Teverga to Oviedo is around 60-80 €.

Without a car and with a dog

Doable with care:

  • Bus accepts dogs (driver’s discretion, usually yes with a carrier or on a lead).
  • We provide the pet-friendly trailer to take them on the route.
  • Pet-friendly accommodation in Teverga or Proaza (check at booking).
  • Bear enclosure: dogs not allowed inside the perimeter (one person waits outside 15-20 min).

Without a car and with kids

Family plan without a car:

  • Bus with pushchair: folded, no problem.
  • We rent a child seat, child trailer or trail-a-bike depending on age.
  • Accommodation near our shop so you don’t have to carry everything.

What to bring without a car

  • Small backpack (25-30 L) is enough. Trail clothing fits in it.
  • Light rain layer (mandatory).
  • Comfortable footwear for the day.
  • Charged phone to call us and check bus times.
  • Cash or card: food and bus.

If you’re staying overnight:

  • Change of clothes for the night and the next day.
  • Basic toiletry kit.
  • Phone charger.

Accommodation usually has towels and soap — no need to bring them.

Advantages of coming without a car

  1. Zero parking worries, especially in high season.
  2. Zero petrol — bus + food works out cheaper than petrol + tolls.
  3. You can have cider without thinking about driving.
  4. Total relaxation — window seat and scenery.

Disadvantages

  1. Fixed timetables — you have to fit them.
  2. Less flexibility for plan changes.
  3. If you miss the last bus, problem.
  4. Less freedom to combine with far-away spots in Asturias.

Our advice

“Book the bike in advance”. If the bus drops you in Entrago at 10:00 and there are no bikes free, you’ve lost the day. Booking is free — worth securing.

“Confirm the return bus before starting the ride”. Knowing the last one leaves at 18:00 lets you plan the timings. It’s the detail people overlook most.
